Its always in the little things. Would you rather have a President that gives a hug to a war veteran, or just shake their hand? I know which I would rather see.

I honestly don’t give a fuck what the president does outside of politics. Sure, it’s nice that he gave her a hug, but…

president who’d bring the troops home so he wouldn’t have to hug them after their legs have been blown off. Idk, what’s…

Of course it would be nice to have the troops home, Ours (GB) included, But The Governments wanted our forces to go over there to either arrest or Kill Bin Laden, Because of 9/11, 7/7, 1998 bombings of United States embassies in Tanzania, Kenya, Bali, Jakarta, Casablanca, Riyadh and Istanbul and other known atrocities.
The forces will stay there for a certain amount of time to help with building the country up again, as they have been asked to do by the Afghan people.  Then the troops will slowly pull out. As with Iraq.
Now, I know this may seem harsh, But I am sure those who join any of the Armed Forces, know what they are doing when they sign up. They are joining, to train to go to war. I know civilians find this hard to understand. But having come through the Army with my Father, I know this to be true.  They serve their Country, So You and I can have freedom, and not live in threats to our livelihood.  And lets not forget its not just America and The UK who are over there:
 Afghanistan
 Armenia
 Azerbaijan
 Bahrain
 Bangladesh
 Bulgaria
 Belgium
 Canada
 China
 Congo
 Cyprus
 Czech Republic
 Denmark
 Egypt
 Estonia
 France
 Georgia
 Germany
 Greece
 Hungary
 India
 Ireland
 Italy
 Japan
 Kuwait
 Kyrgyzstan
 Latvia
 Lithuania
 Macedonia
 Malaysia
 Montenegro
 New Zealand
 Norway
 Oman
 Pakistan
 Poland
 Portugal
 Qatar
 Romania
 Russia
 Slovakia
 Slovenia
 South Korea
 Spain
 Sudan
 Sweden
 Switzerland
 Tajikistan
 Thailand
 Turkey
 Turkmenistan
 United Arab Emirates
 Ukraine
 United Kingdom
 United States
 Uzbekistan
So yes, it would be GREAT if all these brave men and women could return home. But at this moment in time they cant.  And we should be proud of them. And as for Obama Hugging that Lady War Veteran,  I STILL think it was a great image to see, It was meaningful. And Im sure if Bush was still in, it would be a stiff hand shake and a meaningless word or two.
